All accommodations are conveniently located on the Bilkent Campus, within walking distance of the Music Building. To ensure the most convenient and comfortable dorm life for our students, all our rooms are furnished with single beds or bunk beds, desks, desk chairs, bookcases or shelves, wardrobes, wastebaskets and mini refrigerators. All student rooms have UTP connections to Bilkent University\u2019s DORM-NET network, which provides high speed (1GB) unlimited internet access at no charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All dorms have common areas such as kitchens \/ kitchenettes, TV\/social lounges, study lounges, self-service laundry \/ ironing rooms, game \/ visitors\u2019 areas or rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Central heating and 24-hour continuous hot water are standard in all dorms, in which fully equipped, well-planned common bathrooms and restrooms are appropriately located on each resident floor. Security guards are present 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Room and roommate preferences, if applicable, must be indicated on the application form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minor participants who wish to stay in the dormitory must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants are encouraged to join our regular meal plans which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the campus. Designed by Bilkent University\u2019s nutrition department, the meals are healthy and balanced (Vegetarian options are available).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also a considerable number of cafeterias offering various food & beverage alternatives located all around the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HEALTH CENTER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will have access to primary care medical services of the Bilkent University Health Center, located just 10 minutes of walking distance from the Music Faculty Building. In cases of emergency, university ambulances accompanied by Health Center doctors and nurses are available 24 hours a day to take patients to nearby hospitals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For insurance purposes, participants\u2019 Turkish ID Number must be submitted on the application form. International participants who have international health insurance must email pianofestbilkent@gmail.com<\/a> regarding their insurance information and coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many delicious Turkish and international cuisine restaurants, cafes and various stores available aThere are numerous restaurants, cafes and various shopping options available at Bilkent Center. The center is around a twenty minute walk from the Music Faculty Building. Bank and Post Office services are both located on the campus and at Bilkent Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants are welcome to take advantage of modern facilities in two gymnasiums on the campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will have full access to the campus library and its collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRANSPORTATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation to the campus is carried out by private shuttle vehicles departing from Bilkent University and the city center at certain times. These transportation opportunities provided by the university are free of charge for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
